As a Business Analytics Lead within PNC's Regulatory Reporting organization, housed within the Office of the Corporate Controller, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA.

This position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at manager’s discretion.

•\tPrior knowledge of Call Report and/or FR Y-9C preferred, experience in SEC Reporting acceptable
•\tExperience in reviewing workpapers prepared by junior analysts to support regulatory filings in compliance with section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act
•\tAbility to assess regulatory instruction changes, findings, errors and associated impact to regulatory reports
•\tGeneral knowledge of bank financial statements (Balance Sheet and P&L)
•\tAbility to interpret regulatory reporting instructions
•\tStrong excel skills, including ability to run pivots, lookups, etc.
•\tOversee planning for submissions to regulatory agencies, ensuring PNC upholds regulatory compliance guidelines for data availability and quality
•\tConduct quality assurance (QA) validations of internal systems, reports, and data sets to authenticate the accuracy of contents
•\tPartner with financial systems and regulatory reporting SMEs to draft project documentation for reporting and data integration automations
•\tHelp manage relationships with engineering partners, establishing mutual understanding & strategic direction for change requests for regulatory reporting data management and reporting

Job Description
  • Leads the analytics processes across multiple functions or business units leveraging an array of complex analytical tools to create data driven solutions. Serves as mentor to more junior employees.
  • Consults with clients and mentors consultants on tool and strategy implementation and monitoring, statistical scoring, business intelligence, data quality, and analytical product / solution development.
  • Determining the optimal analytic approach and supporting development, implementation and enhancements.
  • Conceptualizing, developing and continuously optimizing analytical solution for operations and executive management to enable data driven decision making.
  • Analyze results and make recommendations for key business partners and senior management or communicate conclusions from complex analytical solutions to a wide range of audiences.
