We are seeking a highly motivated Chief Engineer (Facilities) to support a government client in the Washington Metropolitan Area. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage facilities engineering team responsible for maintenance of facilities, equipment, and machinery. Plan, direct, and manage all phases of equipment, electrical, mechanical, and building systems maintenance, modifications, and projects. Coordinate with government clients, team members, and contractors on facilities projects. Qualifications: TS/SCI clearance with willingness to sit for a polygraph if requested. Minimum of eight years of experience in facilities engineering. US Citizenship required. HS Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Master HVAC License and Refrigeration Certification. Experience managing facilities engineering teams and projects. Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing systems, and building management. Experience with chillers, generators, pumps, HVAC units, and UPS systems. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Desired Qualifications: Engineering Degree from an ABET-accredited program and a PE license. Compensation: Base salary ranges from $134,800 to $202,200, based on experience and location (Maryland). Additional compensation may include bonuses, incentives, and benefits.
