Job Description
We are seeking a hands on Production Supervisor to join a growing company in the food manufacturing industry. Ideal candidate will have a track record of driving efficiencies, team leadership, organizational and mentoring skills.
Duties required:
- Oversees daily production and scheduling
- Handle equipment needs, motivates and encourage operators to meet daily target goals
- Conduct training, ensures best practices and FDA requlations are met
- Assist with inventory accuracy by ensuring raw materials/ packaging materials are used
- Maintains clean and organized work environment
- Other related duties as assigned by Plant Manager
- Knowledge of GMP, Forklift operations and mechanical skills helpful
- Bilingual a plus
Requirements include:
- 2 years of experience in food manufacturing industry/ packaging
- High School Diploma or Equivalent diploma
- Effective communication skills and attention to details
- Knowledge of lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement preferred
