GlobalFoundries is seeking a talented and driven Repair Technician to join the Electronics Repair Center (ERC) at our Essex Junction, Vermont facility (Fab9). This role involves the repair of a wide range of electronic systems including PCBs, controllers, robots, electro-mechanical assemblies, power supplies, RF generators, and industrial computers. The ERC directly supports semiconductor manufacturing operations at Fab9.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and testing various electronics and is expected to help establish and document standard procedures within their areas of responsibility. A strong foundation in analog and digital electronics, component-level troubleshooting, and repair techniques is essential. This role follows an E-Shift schedule (Monday-Friday) but may require flexibility to support 24x7 operations.
