Job Description

Seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer to support the Echo/Vascular department in an acute care setting. This role requires strong technical expertise in echocardiography and vascular studies, including advanced cardiac procedures. The department utilizes Cerner charting and Siemens ultrasound equipment.

This is a great opportunity for seasoned professionals looking for a stable day-shift assignment with guaranteed hours.

Duties

• Perform diagnostic echocardiograms and vascular studies
• Assist with and perform TEE (Transesophageal Echocardiograms)
• Support procedures such as dialysis catheter placement
• Prepare patients and equipment for cardiac imaging procedures
• Accurately document findings in Cerner
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Participate in on-call rotations as required

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Required Certifications:
  • BLS Certification
  • RDCS

  • RVT

     

Experience Required:\nMinimum 5 years of echocardiography experience\n
