Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

\n

• Must provide 2 fingerprint cards upon acceptance of position
\n• Perform radiographic/sonographic examinations of all body parts for diagnostic interpretation
\n• Exercise professional judgment in performance of procedures applying principles of radiation protection
\n• Perform diagnostic medical radiography/sonography within department and other areas
\n• Maintain patient records and files and assume responsibility for departmental quality assurance program
\n• Must be able to work with patients of all age groups from newborn to geriatric (70+ years)
\n• Must be willing and able to take call and report to work within 20 minutes
\n• Must be able to perform duties in multiple imaging modalities including Ultrasound, MRI, CT, and Mammography
\n• Rotate shifts as required and work well in stressful situations
\n• Current ARRT in Radiography OR Current ARDMS in one category (Abd or OB/GYN) required
\n• BLS certification required within 45 days of start
\n• Clinical Competency required within 3 months of hire and every three years
\n• Must live at least 50+ miles away from facility address
\n• Perform mammography procedures including breast needle localization, specimen radiography, quality control, screening, diagnostic, and stereotactic breast biopsy
\n• Complete 5 CEUs in Mammography credits per year and perform 100 mammograms per year per ACR/FDA requirements
\n• Perform ultrasound examinations, MRI procedures, and CT/interventional procedures as assigned
\n• Assist with invasive procedures and maintain equipment care
\n• Follow standard precautions and alter protocols for different age groups
