Hazy Mountain Vineyards is a premier winery nestled in the heart of Afton Known for its exquisite wine and stunning views, our venue offers a beautiful Tasting Room, an elegant 8-bedroom on-site villa, and a large-scale event venue perfect for weddings, private events, and corporate gatherings. We are seeking a Wine Club Director to lead and manage our wine club program, refine our sales strategies, and drive growth in club revenue, with a focus on member experience/retention and club events. Position Overview

The Wine Club Director will be responsible for overseeing and Wine Club Program at Hazy Mountain Vineyards, which includes training and oversight of tasting room staff and managers. You will be tasked with developing and executing strategies to increase club revenue and membership engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Wine Club management software, billing/pick-up and shipping program
  • Coordinate Wine Club Events (dinners, pick up parties, ect)
  • Oversee HM Wine Education Program (Staff Training, Educational Sessions/Classes with members/public, social media posts)
  • Respond to prospective and active wine club members' inquiries and educational questions
  • Ensure satisfaction by communicating with club members regularly at events, in the tasting room and email outreach throughout the year and at the conclusion of Club Events.
  • Assist in the Tasting Room with managing staff
  • Inventory management and ordering of wine/beer from the processing plant
  • Maintain full compliance with the Department of Agriculture and ABC regulations
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and results-driven team culture.
  • Work closely with the marketing department to create targeted campaigns that attract new event clients and drive brand awareness.
  • Develop pricing strategies for event packages, special offers, and promotional initiatives to optimize revenue and profitability.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and guest feedback to continually improve sales strategies and stay ahead of industry changes.
  • Analyze sales data to track performance and identify opportunities for process improvements or strategic adjustments.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support

  • Partner with other departments such as operations, catering, and event services to ensure seamless execution of all events, from booking through post-event follow-up.
  • Work closely with the Tasting Room team to promote the venue for private events and weddings, ensuring that all services align with brand standards.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to enhance the guest experience, refine customer service strategies, and improve overall operational efficiency.

Operational Efficiency & Process Optimization

  • Continuously assess and refine sales processes, systems, and workflows to streamline operations and improve the guest experience.
  • Implement best practices for sales reporting, lead tracking, and pipeline management to increase operational efficiency and ensure smooth transitions from inquiry to event execution.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in sales leadership, preferably in luxury hospitality, event planning, or related industries.
  • Experience managing teams with a track record of driving performance and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong knowledge of sales systems, membership management tools, and data analytics to track and optimize performance.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies that drive revenue growth.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail and exceptional service standards.
  • A passion for wine and the hospitality industry, with the ability to communicate Hazy Mountain Vineyards' brand story and value proposition effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a winery, vineyard, or similar venue environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Google Workspace, and sales CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
